Terms of sale

You pay once and get a license to the complete source code of the edition you choose, with every 1.x update. The license in the download sets out what you may build with it. Dodo Payments processes the payment as our merchant of record.

1. Who you're buying from

DryDock Kit is made by Abinithish Kumar, based in India (“we”). Orders are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record: it is the seller on your receipt, takes the payment and handles sales tax, VAT and GST. The license to the software is granted by us.

3. The license

Your use of the software is governed by LICENSE.md, included in the download. In short: you may modify the code and build and sell unlimited products of your own with it; client projects need the Team & Agency tier; and you may not resell, share or publish the kit itself, or build a competing starter kit from it. If this summary and LICENSE.md ever differ, LICENSE.md applies.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars and paid once. Tax is calculated at checkout from your location and added where it applies. The Founding tier is limited to the first 30 sales. Prices may change for future purchases, never for one you've already made.

5. Updates and support

We publish updates and answer support email as described in SUPPORT.md: install, configuration and deployment as documented, and bugs in the code as shipped, with response targets of 3 business days (Developer) and 2 business days (Team & Agency). Support doesn't cover building your own features or debugging code you or an AI assistant added. We don't promise any particular release or release date.

7. No warranty, and limits on liability

The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Its tests and security practices aren't an audit, a certification or a guarantee: you're responsible for the security, compliance and operation of anything you deploy. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected with your purchase is limited to the amount you paid. The full wording is in LICENSE.md.

8. Ending the license

Your license ends automatically if you break its restrictions, for example by sharing or reselling the kit. You must then stop using it and delete your copies. Products you deployed before that can keep running.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version on this page when you bought applies to your purchase.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
